How do we exist in the world? And how to settle down effectively in one language or another language? This article is largely based on reflections of the book Linguistics, cognition and didactics. Principles and exercises of linguistic-didactic, masterpiece of linguist Samir Bajrić. In this text, we are mainly interested in cognition, language, and the appropriation of a language or another language, and in which we conduct a cognitive, linguistic and philosophical research on the human being and on the speaker-being while taking advantage of linguistic neoteny. The languages analyzed in this text are mainly French and Mandarin.

As with all senses, the olfactory system continually encounters an enormous variety of odorants which is why mechanisms must exist to segment them and respond to changes. Although most olfactory habitation studies have focused on animal models, this non-systematic review provides an overview of olfactory habituation and adaptation in humans, and techniques that have been used to measure them.
